School Communicator

Dear Parents

Over the last year or two we have been working to improve our communication to Thornlie Christian College families. We understand that relevant, timely and accessible information is important for you. With this in mind we provide many avenues for you to be able to access that information. These include phone calls, posted letters, sms,  email, facebook , twitter, the College website and School Communicator.

This year we also began to provide a Weekly Newsletter Update by email. This has proved to be a valuable, concise summary of all that is happening in the College with links for further information when it is required.

About two years ago we introduced the Thornlie Christian College School Communicator, an application that provides easy access to a broad range of information for our families.  Updated daily, School Communicator provides  our families with live information about events, news, the TCC calendar, a photo gallery, resources, homework set by teachers, classroom and school notes and much more.

School Communicator can be personalised for each family so that you receive only the information that you want and need. It is easy to install and multiple copies can be used for free. You can have at your fingertips, whether at work or at home, up to date details of what is happening in the lives of your children at the College.

It is our desire to see all of our families using School Communicator.  It is primarily designed to be used on a PC or Mac computer. The application can easily be downloaded from the College website using the following link. http://www.schoolcommunicator.com.au/download.php

For School Communicator to be most effective we require that it be used by all of our families as the main source of information from the College. I would like to encourage you to download School Communicator today.

Warm Regards
Mike Kingsford
Deputy Principal
