Important College Dates

Kindy Information Session for prospective new families – April / May of each year

This is the commencement of the application process for prospective new families.

The session is to provide families with an in depth look at Thornlie Christian College and give families the opportunity to meet our Principal, Assistant Principal Primary and Kindy Teacher. This also provides a great opportunity to meet other families who are enrolling their children into Kindy the following year.

Middle School Information Session for prospective new families – April / May of each year

This is the commencement of the application process for prospective new families.

The session is to provide families with an in depth look at Thornlie Christian College and give families the opportunity to meet our Principal, Assistant Principal Secondary and other relevant staff.

This also provides a great opportunity to meet other families who are enrolling their children into Middle School the following year.

Open Day – Saturday 10th September 2016

This provides an opportunity for us to showcase our College. The entire campus is open with spectacular displays throughout. There are items, productions and presentations happening throughout the day.

All staff are available to be of any assistance and answer any questions you may have. The College PIA oversee fun activities and rides, Hospitality faculty provide a sumptious catering options. This is a super fun day where the entire campus is a buzz of excitement and activity. College Registrars are available on the day to follow up any enrolment queries you may have

Middle School Orientation – November

New incoming students to Middle school will come and do school for a day at Thornlie Christian College. Upon arrival they are presented with a showbag and throughout the day students will participate in various group activities, get to know the layout of the Secondary School campus and meet other new incoming students. Students will receive a briefing on important processes that happen on a daily basis within the Secondary School. Each student sit a short MYAT test to provide us with information necessary in allocating them to the correct subject classes. Lunch is also provided for the students.

Kindy Orientation – December

Parents and incoming students are invited to attend our orientation day. Upon arrival you are invited to view our kindergarten facilities. There are activities set up for you children to participate in. Our Kindergarten teacher speaks with the parent group providing information regarding the kindergarten programme, graduated intake, and necessary requirements needing to be provided for each child. Uniforms are available to be purchased on this day.
